Kenneth L. Moskowitz earned his Juris Doctor degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law in 1985, where he also served as a Senior Editor of the Law Review. Mr. Moskowitz graduated, magna cum laude, from the State University of New York at Albany in 1982. Mr. Moskowitz is admitted to the Courts of the State of New Jersey, the State of New York, the United States District for the District of New Jersey, the United States District for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Mr. Moskowitz is a member of the American Bar Association, the New Jersey Bar Association and the New York Bar Association.
Mr. Moskowitz is a founding partner of Brown Moskowitz & Kallen, P.C. Mr. Moskowitz is a litigator with extensive experience in a broad range of civil and criminal matters. Mr. Moskowitz represents clients in a wide range of business, construction, employment and insurance coverage litigation matters.
Mr. Moskowitz began his career as a prosecutor. He served as a Senior Assistant District Attorney in the Office of the Rockland County District Attorney. In that capacity, he prosecuted white-collar criminal and consumer fraud cases, and he went on to serve as the County’s chief narcotics prosecutor. Between 1989 and 1997, Mr. Moskowitz practiced at Sills Cummis & Gross, one of New Jersey’s premier law firms. While at Sills Cummis, Mr. Moskowitz handled diverse matters ranging from complex corporate and commercial disputes to insurance defense and coverage matters. Between 1997 and 1999, Mr. Moskowitz served as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for a publicly traded specialty contractor. Mr. Moskowitz represented the company in varied contract and construction litigation, administrative and regulatory matters, and he was also responsible for various aspects of project development.
